Expanding its high-end portfolio, the third-generation family business continues a landmark year of growth with the addition of the world-renowned German brand.
St. Louis and Columbia, MO (May 12, 2026) – Slyman Bros. Appliances, a Missouri legacy in retail for more than 60 years, is proud to announce it has become the newest authorized retail dealer in Missouri and the only retail dealer in St. Louis for Miele, the iconic global kitchen and home appliances brand. This partnership marks a significant milestone in Slyman Bros.’ mission to provide prestigious home solutions to Missouri homeowners and builders; while Miele is available for purchase at all five Slyman Bros.’ locations with showrooms, the brand will be featured exclusively on display at the West County store located at 14755 Manchester Rd Ballwin, MO 63011.
The new display will provide customers with a hands-on, immersive experience with one of the world's leading premium appliance brands. The new West County showroom will feature a comprehensive suite of high-end Miele products, including:
- Laundry Units
- Ranges and Wall Ovens
- Dishwashers and Refrigerators
- Steam Ovens and Warming Drawers
- Live Built-in Coffee Machine
Founded in 1899, Miele is globally recognized for its "Immer Besser" (Forever Better) philosophy, producing appliances that lead the industry in durability, performance, and sustainability. The addition of Miele comes during a period of unprecedented transformation for the company. Since October 2024, Slyman Bros. has aggressively reinvested in its physical locations to create more immersive, luxury-focused shopping experiences and opened its first physical location outside St. Louis in its 60-year-history:
- St. Louis City Grand Re-Opening (January 2026): The iconic Hampton Avenue showroom recently celebrated a grand re-opening, featuring upgraded displays and the full range of Slyman Bros.’ expanded offerings.
- Columbia Expansion (November 2025) Expanding beyond St. Louis, Slyman Bros. opened its first Mid-Missouri location in Columbia (1801 Westfall Dr.). The site features a showroom and an on-site warehouse, enabling a large local inventory and rapid delivery. This expansion—the company’s first brick-and-mortar presence outside of St. Louis—brings its signature "next-day delivery" and family-oriented service to Columbia, Jefferson City, and the Lake of the Ozarks. Notably, Lake of the Ozarks residents receive free delivery on purchases made through the Columbia store.
- West County Expansion (Spring 2025): The Ballwin location underwent a complete remodel, adding 2,000 square feet of high-end display space to showcase premium brands in realistic kitchen vignettes.
- South County Relocation (October 2024): The South County store moved to a massive 10,000-square-foot showroom at 5757 S. Lindbergh Blvd., featuring a dedicated 2,000-square-foot luxury gallery.
