St. Louis, MO (April 16, 2025) – Slyman Bros. Appliances, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2025 as a third-generation family-owned business, is pleased to announce its participation in the Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday event from April 19-25, 2025.
During this period, customers can take advantage of significant savings on Energy Star certified appliances. Missouri's Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday exempts sales tax on select Energy Star appliances up to $1,500. Qualifying appliances include:
- Washers
- Dryers
- Refrigerators
- Dishwashers
- Freezers
In addition to the state's sales tax exemption, Slyman Bros. is offering an exclusive deal: For any qualifying Energy Star appliance exceeding the $1,500 threshold, Slyman Bros. will cover the remaining sales tax. This means customers will pay $0 sales tax on all qualifying purchases during the event, regardless of the appliance's price.
